How to assess a chin filler clinic in Korea
These questions are specific to the chin. Ask them alongside the general ones about licenses and registration.
- Is your profile photographed from the side? Projection can only be planned against a side view of nose, lips and chin together.
- Is a muscle component considered? A tense chin muscle can pucker the skin. Some plans pair filler with botulinum toxin for that reason, and the clinic should explain why if it suggests both.
- What happens with a previous implant? Past chin surgery changes the plan. Expect a careful conversation before any injection.
- Which product, and how firm? The chin needs a product that holds shape. Ask which one and see it opened.

Chin filler at Barog Clinic is part of the work of Dr. Seongkyu Park, who has been medical director in Seomyeon, Busan since 2021. His Korean medical license is KMLE 127092. Filler and botulinum toxin are two of his main areas, which helps when a chin plan uses both.
He holds three manufacturer titles: Belotero key doctor with Merz Korea, Restylane Expert Member with Galderma and Byryzn key doctor with Hugel. Belotero is among the chin products the clinic uses, and Restylane has its own chin price row.

When chin filler is not advised, and the risks
Chin filler waits during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with an infection at the site and with a known reaction to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine. Blood thinners must be mentioned. Bruising, swelling, asymmetry and small lumps are the usual effects, and infection is rare. Vascular complications after chin augmentation with hyaluronic acid have been described in the literature, and filler is dissolved promptly if one is suspected. A 2024 retrospective study also reported bone resorption under chin filler, a reason to keep volumes moderate and review the chin over time.
Chin filler timing on a Seomyeon, Busan visit
The injection takes about 10 to 20 minutes after numbing cream. Bruising and swelling usually settle over a few days. Because the chin moves less than the lips, results typically last six to eighteen months.
The clinic is roughly two minutes on foot from Seomyeon Station and opens 10:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 16:00 on Saturday. Sunday is closed.
