Six safety questions for dermal filler in Korea
Ask these before you book, whatever area you want treated.
- Is hyaluronidase kept on site? It is the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler, and the first line of response to a blocked vessel.
- Which areas are treated as high risk? A clinic should be able to name the nose and the frown line and explain what it does differently there.
- Can I see the product opened? A sealed box and a readable lot number are the simplest proof of what goes into your face.
- Who injects, and who reviews? You want a named doctor for both the injection and the follow-up.
- What happens weeks later? Delayed swelling or lumps can appear long after the appointment. Ask how you would be seen if that happens once you are home.
- Is the cc amount per area written down? Multi-area plans add up quickly, and the plan should list each area separately.
Best dermal filler Busan: three kinds of clinic

The doctor behind filler at Barog Clinic
Dr. Seongkyu Park, medical director since 2021, leads filler at Barog Clinic in Seomyeon, Busan. His license number is KMLE 127092. Filler, botulinum toxin, thread lifting and body filler are the core of his work.
His manufacturer recognitions are Restylane Expert Member from Galderma, Belotero key doctor from Merz Korea and Byryzn key doctor from Hugel. Each title comes from a manufacturer program for injectors who work with that product line.
His approach to higher-risk areas is cautious by design. A nose with past surgery may be declined, because surgery can change where the vessels run.
Volume, certificates and the lot number on your box
From 2021 the clinic has carried out over 100,000 facial and over 30,000 body filler treatments, alongside Radiesse and Juvelook as collagen-stimulating injectables.
Sixteen certificates of genuine supply are displayed inside the clinic. Each filler box is opened in front of the patient, and the box and lot number can be checked on site. Keep a photo of the label; if you ever need care elsewhere, the product name is the first thing a doctor will ask for.

When filler is postponed or declined, and what can go wrong
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, an active infection at the site and a known reaction to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine all mean waiting or changing the plan. Blood thinners must be disclosed. Some requests are turned down for anatomical reasons: very prominent under-eye fat is better assessed for surgery, and a demand for more cheek volume than the face can carry is reduced or declined.
Expected effects are bruising, swelling, asymmetry and small lumps. A systematic review estimated how often delayed inflammatory reactions appear weeks or months after hyaluronic acid filler. The serious rare risk is vascular occlusion. Treatment relies on hyaluronidase given promptly and in adequate dose, as described in a high-dose pulsed protocol, and reviews of filler-related vision loss show why the nose and frown line need the greatest care.
Planning filler around a stay in Seomyeon, Busan
Most facial filler appointments take about 10 to 30 minutes after numbing cream. Bruising and swelling usually settle within a few days, while the under-eye area can take up to a week. Results commonly last six to twelve months, and up to eighteen months in the chin and cheek.
The clinic is about two minutes from Seomyeon Station on foot, with weekday hours of 10:00–20:00, Saturday hours of 10:00–16:00 and no Sunday opening.
