What a realistic result looks like

A successful outcome is a smaller, flatter area under the chin and a crisper angle between the jaw and the neck, most visible in side profile. The bone structure of the face stays the same, and loose skin is not tightened. If laxity was part of the original fullness, the after view may show softer skin that would benefit from lifting.

Barog Clinic does not currently publish its own before-and-after photos for this treatment. The most useful comparison is a set of your own photos taken in the same light and pose before each visit.

Timeline: when change becomes visible

In the first days after a session, the chin can look fuller because of swelling. Once that settles, usually within three days to two weeks, a modest reduction may begin to show, and clearing continues over the following weeks. The difference usually builds with each round, so the clearest change tends to appear as the course goes on.

Across a general range of two to four visits spaced about a month apart, the contour refines step by step. Judge progress at the same point in each cycle, just before the next session, so swelling is not mistaken for the result.

How to read online before-and-after photos

Check that the head angle, lighting and camera distance match in both images, since simply tilting the chin down or up can create or hide a double chin. Look at how many sessions and how much time separate the two photos.

A very fast, dramatic change after a single session deserves caution, because swelling, posture or weight change may explain part of the difference.

Photos taken months after the last session say more about a lasting result than images taken a few weeks in. When you review examples during a consultation in Seomyeon, Busan, ask when each picture was taken relative to the final treatment, and whether the person's weight stayed steady in between.
