The three parts of a filler bill in Korea
Start with the per-cc rate for your area. At Barog the cheapest face row reads ₩60,000 for each cc, while finer gels for lips or the eye area begin higher. Multiply that rate by the volume: a chin point may take one cc, a pair of cheeks often more.
Then add the product choice and tax. If you move from the entry gel to an imported brand, the rate per cc changes, and Korean VAT is charged on top of the board figure. A treatment plan written out in cc and product makes the total easy to check line by line. Numbing cream is part of the session and does not appear as a separate charge.
Why filler tends to cost less in Korea
Korean clinics work at high volume, and that spreads fixed costs such as staff, rooms and stock over many more treatments. Barog's facial filler count since 2021 passed the hundred-thousand mark, and a practice working at that pace can price each cc lower while still buying sealed, certified product.
Domestic manufacturing also plays a part. Korea produces several hyaluronic-acid filler lines approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, so the entry product on many rows is made locally. Imported brands remain available on separate rows for those who prefer them.
How brand choice moves the figure
Brand is the variable people underestimate. On the Barog board the lip entry line is ₩110,000, while the Restylane lip row is ₩380,000. Nasolabial folds, priced per wrinkle line up to 4 cm rather than per cc, follow the same pattern: the entry line is ₩150,000, and the Neuramis and Restylane rows are ₩170,000 and ₩350,000.
A higher row buys a different gel texture and a different manufacturer. The injector matches the product to the area, since a dense volumising gel suits cheeks while a softer one suits lips, and will explain why a given row fits your face.
Keeping the estimate realistic
Plan for the amount your face actually needs. Someone correcting mild hollowness might use a single cc; restoring volume across the mid-face can take several. Bruising and swelling for a few days are common, so leave room in your itinerary before photos or flights.
Filler is declined during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over an active infection, or when the requested volume would look overfilled. When a request crosses that line, the consultation scales the plan down, which can make the final bill smaller than the estimate you arrived with.
