Why lifting is sold by the shot

A shot is one pulse of energy from the handpiece. More shots cover more area or treat the same area more densely, which also lengthens the session. A small shot count can suit the eye area or a touch-up, while a full face with a softening jawline usually needs several hundred. When you compare quotes, match the device and the shot count first. Session time rises with shot count too, so a larger package also means a longer appointment.

Ultherapy Prime: three shot levels

Ultherapy Prime uses image-guided focused ultrasound down to the deeper support layer, and the clinic has treated more than ten thousand Ultherapy cases. The board lists 100 shots at ₩300,000, 300 shots at ₩850,000 and 600 shots at ₩1,500,000.

This month the event board pairs Ultherapy 300 shots with 400 shots of a second tightening device and LDM regeneration care as one set at ₩1,290,000.

Thermage FLX and Shurink Universe

Thermage FLX is radiofrequency, heating the dermis to prompt collagen remodelling. The standard face treatment is 600 shots at ₩1,790,000, and the clinic counts more than ten thousand Thermage cases.

Shurink Universe, sold abroad as Ultraformer MPT, is multi-depth focused ultrasound and a separate machine from Ultherapy. It is listed at ₩60,000 for 100 shots, ₩330,000 for 600 and ₩450,000 for 900. The September event adds 500 shots at ₩240,000 and 1,000 shots at ₩440,000.

Thread lifts: priced by the line

A Mint PDO thread lift is charged by the number of threads. Two September sets are on the board: a full-face design lift using ten Mint threads plus ten premium threads, listed at ₩1,290,000, and a jawline set of four Mint threads with Shurink 100 shots at ₩490,000.

Reading the total before you book

Board prices exclude 10% VAT, added when you pay, and the same board applies to local and international patients. Event lines change monthly, so confirm the lines valid on your visit date. Energy devices are not suitable for everyone: pregnancy, a pacemaker, metal implants in the area or an active skin infection mean a different plan or none. Expect temporary redness and swelling; rarer effects include bruising, numbness or, with radiofrequency, blistering.

Combination plans are common because the devices work at different depths. A face with a softening jawline and crepey cheeks might pair focused ultrasound with radiofrequency, and the price then reflects both shot counts. Ask for the plan to be written out line by line, with each device and its shot count, so you can see where the total comes from before you pay.
