Ultherapy Prime before and after: what a realistic change looks like

A fair Ultherapy Prime before and after shows a firmer jawline edge, a slightly lifted brow and a tidier area under the chin, and it shows them months after the session, not the next morning. Many people expect a same-day transformation and miss the slower change that actually happens. This page explains what the comparison should look like, how the timeline unfolds, and who is unlikely to see much difference, for patients weighing the treatment at Barog in Seomyeon, Busan, Korea.

What a realistic Ultherapy Prime result looks like

Ultherapy Prime uses imaging-guided microfocused ultrasound to heat set depths of tissue, down toward the SMAS support layer, and trigger new collagen. The visible outcome is tightening and a modest lift. In a well-lit, same-angle comparison, the usual signs are a cleaner line from ear to chin, softer early jowling, a brow that sits a touch higher, and firmer skin beneath the chin.

The change is gradual and measured. Friends often notice that you look rested before they can name what changed. Someone with mild to moderate laxity tends to show the clearest difference, because there is enough slack to tighten while the tissue still responds well to collagen stimulation.

Barog has carried out more than 10,000 Ultherapy cases since 2021. The clinic does not currently publish its own Ultherapy photo pairs, so this page describes the pattern in words; any comparison you look at elsewhere should be judged by the same rules set out below.

How soon a change is visible

Straight after the session, some people see a slight tightening, partly from mild swelling. That early look fades within days and is not the result. The collagen response builds over roughly two to three months, which is when a before and after becomes meaningful.

Redness, swelling and a tingling or tender feeling for a few days are the typical short-term effects. Temporary numbness and, less often, faint line marks or bruising can occur. Most people return to normal plans the same day.

The effect generally holds for around a year, varying by person, and many people repeat the treatment roughly once a year to maintain it.

Does Ultherapy change the face shape?

It tightens and lifts the tissue that is already there; it does not add or remove volume and it does not alter bone. A face will not become narrower in the way filler contouring or surgery can reshape it. What people read as a slimmer lower face is usually a crisper jawline because loose tissue has tightened.

That is also why hollow areas stay hollow. If the cheeks or temples have lost volume, tightening alone will not fill them, and the comparison will look flat in those spots.

Who is unlikely to see a clear before and after

Heavy, established sagging usually needs more than an energy device, and the change on camera will be small. Treatment is postponed during pregnancy, with open wounds or severe cystic acne in the area, or during an active flare of a serious skin condition. Implanted electronic devices and metal or implants in the treatment zone need to be discussed first.

For a fair personal comparison, photograph your face beforehand in the same light, angle and neutral expression, and take the matching set about three months later. The 300-shot session is listed on the board from ₩850,000 for 300 shots, and the September Ultherapy set, which adds a tightening session and LDM regeneration care, is listed at ₩1,290,000.

What do realistic Ultherapy before and after results look like?
A cleaner jawline edge, softer early jowls, a slightly higher brow and firmer skin under the chin, seen in same-angle photos a few months later. The difference is modest and natural, clearest in mild to moderate laxity.
How soon is a change visible?
Any tightness on the day is partly swelling and fades within days. The real change builds as collagen forms over about two to three months, which is the right time to compare photos.
Does Ultherapy change the face shape?
No. It tightens existing tissue and does not add volume or change bone structure. A lower face can look slimmer because the jawline is crisper, but hollow cheeks or temples stay the same.
Why do some Ultherapy photo comparisons look dramatic?
Differences in lighting, camera height, head tilt and expression can exaggerate a result. Photos taken on treatment day also include swelling. A fair comparison uses identical conditions and waits about three months.
Does Barog show Ultherapy before and after photos?
The clinic has treated more than 10,000 Ultherapy cases but does not currently publish Ultherapy photo pairs. At consultation the doctor explains what change to expect for your degree of laxity and how to document your own result.
