Why the face needs a series of laser sessions
A laser can only damage a follicle while it is in an active growth phase. On any given day, part of your facial hair is resting beneath the skin and will not react, so each visit catches a different group.
Facial follicles move through their cycle faster than those on the legs or back. That is why the face is spaced more tightly than the body, where intervals of four to eight weeks are typical.
The usual facial laser session count
Five sessions or more is the normal baseline for the face. Dark, coarse hair on the chin or a men's beard line often needs more to reach a smooth finish, and fine vellus hair can respond less predictably because it carries less pigment.
The board reflects this, with five- and ten-session columns on every facial row. Taking the women's full face row as an example, one visit is listed from ₩200,000, and moving to a package lowers the cost per visit.
Spacing facial laser visits three to four weeks apart
Returning at three to four weeks lets the next wave of follicles reach the growth phase. Coming back much sooner treats hair that was already affected, while waiting much longer lets untreated hair move through a full cycle unaffected.
Between visits, shave if you need to, avoid waxing or threading, and protect the face from strong sun, since a tan can delay the next appointment.
Fitting a facial laser course around trips to Busan
A full course cannot be compressed into one short stay, because the spacing is set by how hair grows. Visitors who come to Busan regularly often book the first session on one trip and line up the next ones with later visits three to four weeks apart.
If your gaps between trips will be longer, tell the team so they can plan realistically. Sessions spread further apart still help, although the course takes longer to show its full effect.
What long-term results look like
Laser treatment reduces hair over the long term, and the amount that regrows differs between people. Some hair may return finer and lighter, and occasional maintenance sessions are common, particularly on the chin.
Barog uses the Apogee 755 nm alexandrite laser, which is non-contact and set up for low discomfort. Redness after each session generally fades within a day.
